    Where calm confidence meets vibrant momentum

    Our story began with holiday rentals and hospitality, bringing people together in comfortable homes across London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Lisbon, Funchal, and throughout Madeira.

    Over time, our passion for creating experiences expanded into restaurants, pubs, concierge services, mobility, and property investment.

    Halcyon Pulse trades as Halcyonpulse Unipessoal LDA, registered in Madeira, Portugal, and founded by Mike McCabe. It is not connected to any other business using the Halcyon name.

    Today, Halcyon Pulse is the umbrella brand connecting a diverse family of ventures. Each one guided by a single principle: creating value by turning potential into performance, and making every experience matter.

    Meet the Founder

    Mike McCabe. Turning property potential into hospitality performance

    Mike McCabe is a Madeira-based hospitality and property entrepreneur with a Glasgow upbringing and an unusual route in, from professional dance and choreography on London and German stages, the Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium, cruise ships and productions of Annie and The King and I, to choreographing for the Casino da Madeira and The Ritz Café Madeira, to building a connected family of holiday-rental, tourism and owner-service brands across Madeira and the UK.

    Today, through Halcyonpulse Unipessoal LDA, Mike operates a portfolio that spans Holiday Home Madeira, Madeira Escapes, Chave AL, Madeira Deals Club and a network of regional rental brands, focused on properties that are profitable, well presented and built for long-term value.
